What will you be doing?

Working closely with the QA Lead, you will be actively contributing to the DA Systems product development strategy, ensuring that the quality and integrity of our products is maintained at all times.

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer who has proven experience with Desktop, Mobile and Web technologies.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and implement test automation frameworks
  • Write, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases for desktop and web-based applications and services
  • Work closely with the QA Lead to plan, schedule, and improve development test processes
  • Collaborate with QA engineers to facilitate knowledge transfer
  • Liaise with developers throughout the SDLC

What do we need from you?

Essentials

  • Demonstrated understanding of Agile software development lifecycles
  • Experience in test automation using a testing framework (e.g. Selenium, coded UI)
  • Experience testing web services (REST and SOAP).
  • Experience in writing Test Cases, Test Plans, and Test Scripts
  • Experience of configuring Jenkins build plans.
  • Able to use Confluence and Jira proficiently
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android devices.
  • Test Management Tools for defect tracking
  • Mobile UI automation
  • An exceptional attention to detail and superb communication skills

Desirable:

  • ISEB/ISTQB qualification in Software Testing or Agile Testing

Integrations Developer

What will you be doing?

This exciting customer facing role will be based at our Head Office in High Wycombe where you will be reporting directly to the Development Manager and you will be an integral member of the development team. You will have sound skills in C# and .NET Development, strong communication skills combined with skills in integration/web services/API Integration such as (JSON, RESTful, SOAP.)

Your key responsibilities:

  • Become a subject matter expert in the company’s technology solutions
  • Hold workshops to understand customer integration requirements
  • Work with our Product Owners, define user stories for new integrations
  • Develop integrations using MS-SQL, C# and other appropriate technologies
  • Create technical documentation
  • Support customers through User Acceptance Testing prior to go-live
  • The role will involve travel to customer sites within the South East and Midlands

What do we need from you?

  • C# and .NET
  • .Net web services/API’s such as (SOAP/Rest/JSON)
  • MS SQL
  • Excellent communications skills, comfortable dealing with large and small customers both in person and on the phone

Service Desk Analyst

What will you be doing?

As a Service Desk / Helpdesk Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Being part of a team whose only mission it is to make our customers happy
  • Being empathetic, responsive and excellent at handling incoming customer helpdesk tickets
  • Being proactive by doing preventative maintenance to catch issues before they happen

What do we need from you?

First and foremost, you will be a people person and be able to build rapport and empathy without thinking about it.

This is a technical role and you will be supporting our sameday courier software (training will be provided) on both our customer’s Microsoft server infrastructure and on our own Azure infrastructure.

Essentials

  • Exceptional communications skills (both written and oral)
  • Incredible troubleshooting, reasoning and deduction skills.
  • Windows Server 2003+, VMWare v5+, Windows desktop XP-10
  • MS-SQL 2005+ (specifically T-SQL)
  • Competency with iOS and Android mobile operating systems

C# Tech Lead / Senior Developer

We’re looking to add a C# Tech Lead / Senior Developer to our expanding development team. You will have strong software engineering skills and be ready to take on a technical lead role.

What will you be doing?

This is a hands-on technical lead role which requires proven skills in C#, .NET, and Microservices in a commercial experience, to play a rounded role including coding, architecture, team and technical leadership

What do we need from you?

  • Significant experience in delivering C# .NET solutions (version 4.5 or above is essential)
  • Understanding of micro-service design/architecture and an ability to build highly-available applications
  • Ideally Azure Cloud or AWS experience – Proven experience of delivery solutions built on at least some of the following technologies: Service Fabric, Web Roles, Worker Roles, Service Bus and Storage, Azure services, SQL databases etc.
  • Experience of deploying in a high availability environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of Agile software development life cycles
  • Understanding of Entity Framework (version 5 or above ideally)
  • Continuous Integration (eg TeamCity, Jenkins)
  • CI/CD pipeline to Azure Service Fabric highly beneficial
  • Experience in Service Oriented Architecture; specifically RESTful WebAPI
  • Unit Testing, Test Driven Development
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Act as role model for Agile behaviours and the adoption of Agile across teams

Nice to have

  • Search technologies, Elasticsearch, Solr, Lucene etc
  • Strong team mentality and experience working closely with other developers
  • Any experience using Angular or Typescript would be a bonus, but is not essential
  • Any experience building restful services for consumption by mobile applications
  • Any experience using Xamarin to build cross-platform mobile apps also a bonus
