Easy to use

As always, we have developed NX Transport with users in mind. The familiar interface is intuitive to use, minimising training and roll-out time. Job instructions are clear so there are no mistakes.

Real-time Mobile-Data

At the push of a button, full job allocation details including addresses, deadlines, contacts and special instructions are instantly pushed out to your drivers via their hand-held device or PDA.

Job updates and status

Once received, your driver accepts the job which notifies their control centre that the job is now in progress (There's even an audible speech alert to let them know there's a new job waiting).

Your drivers then update the status of the job at key points, including load collection, delivery or waiting. At every stage the process is date and time stamped to avoid disputes.

Barcode Scanning

For 'Track & Trace' solutions, barcode scanning can be integrated into the workflow process. This provides a full audit of goods movement for a range of purposes, for example parts selection, web-based tracking or to trigger other processes.

Signature Capture

Proof of delivery (POD) signatures are captured on the handheld and sent back to your office in seconds. You can automatically e-mail the POD Signatures to your clients, or they can track the progress themselves over the internet, being able to view the electronic signature.

Messaging

This is not SMS. NX Transport provides instant, 2-Way messaging between the control room and drivers using GPRS data. It is a much more efficient way to communicate. And it can be 400 times cheaper than sending a text message.

Low Maintenance

You don't need additional IT staff to look after NX Transport. Unlike other mobile-data applications, draining the battery on the unit doesn't mean a loss of the application or the data. Installation is by SD (Secure Digital) card and is fully automated. If the software requires updating, this is done 'over-the-air' so there are no inconvenient returns to base.
