DA Systems Appoints Business Development Manager to Capitalise on Service Sector Mobile Data Growth
Date: 7/2/2011
DA Systems, a leading supplier of software solutions throughout the transportation, logistics and service delivery sectors, has announced the appointment of Lloyd Amako as Business Development Manager for DA Systems' fully managed, mobile data solution, NX Framework.
DA Systems has witnessed a steady increase in demand for IT solutions, centred on mobile applications for enterprise business processes, throughout the service industry. Lloyd will be responsible for developing NX Framework sales and managing those relationships both in the UK and abroad.
Lloyd joins DA Systems from holding a consulting assignment with creative marketing agency, Voodoo. He brings 5 years of technology sales experience, including a similar role, previously at leading enterprise mobility software company, OpenHand, where he managed direct & channel sales across Southern England and West Africa. Lloyd brings DA Systems his experience of selling bespoke software solutions into the logistics and related vertical markets across the EMEA region.
Commenting on his new challenge, Lloyd said "DA Systems has been going from strength to strength with its NX Framework solution. Being a customer focused company and offering great flexibility, we are able to build solutions around the mobile business processes for each customer. NX Framework meets the increasing demands from end-users; it allows better access to a more comprehensive range of enterprise applications, across a wider collection of mobile devices."
As set out in its Worldwide Mobile Worker Population 2009-2013 Forecast, IDC expects the global mobile worker population to increase to more than 1.2 billion in 2013, ensuring that mobility continues to play a key role in enabling companies to achieve greater productivity worldwide.
David Upton managing director, DA Systems said, "A common issue for businesses today is the lack of internal resources able to support mobile solutions, so, the demand for outsourced services and managed applications is heightened. This has arisen because many potential operators of enterprise mobility solutions have significantly downsized their IT departments over the past year. The recent personnel investments that we have made at DA Systems, shows our continued commitment in alleviating this particular issue and delivering sustainable business value to our customers."
The appointment further strengthens DA Systems' capabilities both in UK and internationally, enabling a more cost-effective approach for service-based organisations, across any number of industries. Those looking to deploy bespoke mobile-data solutions, can now do so, rapidly developed under NX Framework, which coupled with a more predictable cost, results in the best overall value and flexibility for any business.
